The first EDUBOT peer-learning activity in Slovakia took place in Komárom on 26 April 2023. The event was attended by 10 teachers from various schools in the area.

"Peer-learning activity" is a method where participants help and teach each other during learning. It is an interactive process, in which the mutual sharing of knowledge and exchange of experiences between the participants of the event is at the fore. In our case, using a broader interpretation of PLA, it means the development of a specific topic, the sharing of experiences and knowledge among actors in the field of education.

The aim of the event was to present the current plans of the project to the participants, to get feedback from the professional community, to share experiences and to brainstorm together on the possibilities of using digital learning materials in education.

At the beginning of the event, Gábor Sikula, representative of TANDEM, n.o., welcomed the participants and briefly presented the objectives of the event. The EDUBOT project was then presented, followed by a joint discussion on the following topics:

  • The use of digital learning materials in education
  • Blended learning methods and best practices
  • Supporting the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities
  • Technical possibilities for using digital learning materials

The event was organized in the framework of the "EduBot - Developing Key Competences Through Blended-Learning Methodology Based on AI Supported Chatbot Technology" project.
